round 8

A couple of Thursdays ago I took Finn and the Burrito to the petting zoo. I was so excited. I have really tried to come up with fun activities for the days Finn isn't in school. I thought the boys were going to love it. Well... Shands was completely zonked out and Finn acted exactly like a 3 year old :) Finn wouldn't touch any of the miniature horses, bunnies, or goats.
I did however talk him into feeding a sweet little calf.

Once I gave him some food to feed the animals he was golden. Finn has such a sweet sensitive side, he would try so hard to make sure all the animals got equal amounts of food. He was really upset when he thought some didn't get enough. Ladies... he will make a great husband one day! But you may have to wait, he said he will live with me until he's 35. That's not saying much. Just last week he told me he was already 27:)

On Friday, the whole Fam went to alligator Alley. If you are ever in our neck of the woods, you should totally go. Especially if you have boys. They guy who owns it is an Auburn grad full of humor. He enlightened us all, and totally made me think twice about swimming or skiing in the rivers. He was incredibly knowledgeable on every aspect of alligators. AA has 175 gators with the biggest on being 13' long!!!!

When we were in college Michael use to go catch alligators with his friends, so he jumped at the opportunity to hold one again. I was happy to see the mouth taped up. AA guy confirmed my fear.... when Michael, Bobby, and Chris were out there catching the little ones..........

We also had the opportunity to meet big bess. This pic doesn't do bess justice. Bess is actually about 6' long. The biggest pig I have ever seen!!!
