round 5 here we go....

We have these amazing fields near our house full of sun flowers that range 6' to 7' to maybe 8' feet tall. Every time we drove by , I just wanted to jump out of the car and run through them. So, one Saturday Michael said "what should we do today?" I replied "run through sunflowers!!" Well, they had all been plowed down by now. So we did the next best thing, run through a corn maze!!! We had so much fun, and Finn loved finding each pumpkin to stamp his card.

Baby Shands even got in on the action, despite still having a wee bit of swine flu hanging on.

Sunday afternoon we needed a family walk, so we walked down the street to this field(we really do live in a neighborhood, this little gem just sits behind it). This is normally where we pick blackberries, so Finn was a little bummed there were none to be picked. He got over it pretty quick when he realized there were 100's of weeds he could practice his (tee tee) aim. Ahh, life with boys:) After our walk we headed to a local farmers market I LOVE!!! Farmers markets smell so good!! Finn also found the pumpkin he wanted to carve. He insisted he wanted a small one so that's what we got. * note, Finn had a major haircut b/w sat and sun.
