The LOT!

Ever since Michael and I moved to the Eastern shore, we have wanted to live on the bay. We found this lot about a year ago (and still on the market!), and love it!!! (Cat, it's the one I took you to) To bad it is about 1.1 million over our budget!!! Oh well. There is just something about waking up and seeing the water in the morning light. I would love to walk out on my porch and have my devotion with a good cup of coffee. Every time Michael and I get consumed with the thoughts "how can we obtain this?" The Lord gently reminds us "this is not your home." How great is that! This is not our eternal home. Our eternal home is with him! I know my mind can't even comprehend how great it will be. The best part is, it's a gift. We didn't have to work 40 hours our whole lifetime to pay for it. He just gave us Jesus!

I hope you enjoy the photo's of what Michael and I like to call "Our Lot". *Sally, I hope you and Matt found it the other day.

Can we split it a few ways? I'm sure others would be interested! :) Justin and I love that area... we went to Point Clear several years ago (in Dec) and still loved it... maybe we'll come visit soon! And you can show us "your lot"!

When I saw the title and pictures I nearly passed out. I though y'all had bought the lot! And I got really excited thinking about boats and docks... Oh goodness. I need to go calm down.

Krista, I LOVE that area...everytime I visit my Dad and Stepmom in Malbis, I get them to take us riding to Fairhope. He used to live right on the water in a run-down condo that is now worth millions...if we had only known! I love the moss hanging.

Krista!! Oh my gosh. I really did think you and Michael just bought it! I just knew I was missing out on some big event in your life and was about to find out about it on your BLOG (which by the way I am now hooked on thanks to you and Jenni) Who knows, with the market the way it, the price might drop!! I would definitely have to convince Brent to move there so we could critique the neighborhood together. We can dream.

We did find it and we absolutely loved it! Please buy it!! I'm sure you would be "lot poor" so maybe you can live in the shack that they left on the property and you would definitely have the necessities since they left that toilet and bath tub too! We loved driving through that area, I can't believe we have lived in Fairhope for a year and have never driven around over there!

Krista, I am so proud of you. Tim told us about this blog at Christmas and I have been following you ever since! Mr. Tucker asked me last night if I had heard from you lately and now we both will check in on you. I hope I can get this to you, I'm still not quite sure about these new fangle things (blogs, emails, even computers). We love you.

Krista-I know how you feel about the lots. Brian and I have found so many we love, but just can't be house poor. Maybe one day we can share million dollar lots on the bay...one day far far away! Dinner soon!
