Part of March

Do they sell this everywhere? We love it!! If I wasn't catching up the blog I would tell you to run out and get you some.

This little guy was trying to hide under pillows, he knows he is suppose to stay at the table, you can see why, look how messy he is!!! For some reason not all the chips make it to his mouth. More Parades!! You get all the throws when you have a cute kid on your shoulders.

We almost missed the parade. I was giving Finn a haircut when Jonathan called M to say it was starting earlier than we thought. That is why it looks like he has on a fleece dress. We grabbed whatever we could find and flew out the door.

Finn showing us his new loot, a light up slap bracelet!!!

This year we survived the wrath of Mardi Gras. Usually one of our friends houses gets completely beaded!! One year we were in Seattle for part of Mardi Gras and came home to a house full of beads.

At first you might think burrito looks like he is saying "oops I spilt all the cereal" not quite. He is trying to shovel it all in before I get it with the broom.

The newest night time activity. Taking rides on the C table. We used to pull them around on blankets. I guess wheels won.

BOYS!!!

You know your tired when you can sleep on seagrass.

Finn decided he wanted to do the 2 mile fun run. I think he is trying to show Michael his running face?

We had a good time. It was insane how many people were doing the fun run. It is hard to keep up with a 5 yr old when you are shoulder to shoulder with every one. The good thing was you knew about every 5th person so if I lost Finn for a sec someone would say he's with me.

Its a good thing we were with Jack, Meg and Gayle otherwise Finn would have gotten to bored. 2 miles to a 5 yr old is a long way. Jumping in leave piles along the way helped too:)

Here they are with there popcorn and Gatorade at the finish line!!! They did it!!!

Sweet feet! They play hard, so they sleep hard.

We love the beginning of spring. We like to take a picnic to the bluff , and play soccer or football.

we are very blessed to be able to live somewhere so pretty. This past year one of the bible studies our circle group did was Gospel in Life by Tim Keller, right off the bat it challenged me. How do I view my city? Do I see my city as what it offers me? Beautiful waterfront, picture perfect small town, Family centered activities? Well of course. Those were some of the main reasons we moved here. My heart was gently reminded, I need to focus on what can I offer my city. Sometimes I am so involved in my mission field at home I forget about what I should offer away from the home. Our church has this thing called ESL, it's a class for people in our area who would like to learn English, it's free and everyone is welcome. I'm thinking about teaching or helping, I am putting this out there to hold me accountable:) The people who knew me growing up are probably laughing right about now:)

Her brothers sure do love her!!! so sweet!!!

After School Finn loves his Lego's!

And we have to keep this little one at a distance b/c she sure would like to put them in her mouth.

Isn't she a Doll face!! I love little charlie red.
