Finn had a wonderful Halloween!!!! On Thursday he had a class party and all the kids got to wear there costumes to school. Finn wavered back and forth on weather to be a cowboy or a pirate. As you can tell the pirate won. We have been talking in pirate lingo around our house for quite some time now. Michael had been trying to get Finn to say "Ahoy Maties" and the closest he got was "Ahoy Maybe's" Oh, it is so cute!!! He says it with such power and strength, it has brought tears to my eyes from laughing so hard. This year we went over to the Carrigans house for a party and to "trick or treat" in there neighborhood. It was so much fun b/c Finn really got the concept of "trick or treating." The first house I had to show him what to do, but it only took one house for Finn to realize saying, "Trick or Treat"= Free candy!!! After that he was a pro!! He even took the lead to march himself (without mommy) to the front doors of the next three houses, but on the fourth house a scary costume came to the door and Finn ran like his pants were on FIRE!! We all had to tell him the scary guy was not real, and he was back to "trick or treating."

I am surprised Finn didn't kick Obama in the knee with the way we talk about him in our house. Palin was there so Finn took the candy from her instead of Obama. Way to go kid!!!
