I know, I haven't had a post in a while. I still have Seattle coming, until then I thought I would share a little something that makes me smile. I love every month when my Cottage Living comes in the mail. I am not a "cottage person" per se, but neither is cottage living. They have the cottage thing with a modern eclectic twist, and that, I like. When I worked at SPC we would go and do all the installations of the Southern living idea houses. Secretly I always wanted to go work with the Cottage Living houses. I liked the style a bit more. Although, I loved the company of the S.L. Homes Group. It would always get a little crazy come 5:00 when drinks were being served and we still had to work until 10:00. Just writing that sentence reminded me of how tired I was, or maybe it was that I was pregnant. I found out during those business trips. Who knows? Any who, back to the part of making me smile. It's not just that my cottage living magazine arrives that makes me smile, it's my goofy husband who got it for me, and had it addressed TO: MS. CHINANDLER BONG! Do any of y'all remember the Friends episode, when Monica and Rachel were playing a made up trivia game against Chandler and Joey to win their apartment back. Well, Ross asked the question, who is the "People" or "readers digest" (I'm not sure which magazine) addressed to? Rachel answers. Chandler Bing. Then Chandler pipes in with a WRONG! It is addressed to Ms. Chinandler Bong. What can I say, little thing make me smile. Thanks Michael!

Something small that makes me smile.

INSANELY HILARIOUS. My mom called me last week and said "did you have my Cottage Living addressed to 'Dooby Rooty'?"... I almost fell out of my chair... she even called Cottage Living to ask them. Meanwhile we've been laughing and calling her Dooby Rooty - come to find out - my squirrelly father came up with that and bought it for her for Christmas in that name.

I have every issue every published! It is FAVORITE magazine of all time!! Mine is just addressed to Lucy Henderly, I gave it to myself! I'll have to go and check the P.O. Box first thing in the morning!!!!!
