a bit mor of March...

The end of March we headed to Grayton for a long weekend. The weather was unbelievable!!!

These pictures crack me up. The boys are so much alike. Although burrito was mistaken for a girl about 7 times this trip. I know totally my fault, I just dread cutting his hair. It's like trying to give a cat a bath, not easy!!!

Little Charlie Red

This is right before the kite disaster of 2011. Shands took over, and the string broke. no big deal right? The boys were running hard to capture the kite then it flew over someones roof and the string got caught on a railing or something? A lady came out of the house, who I thought was trying be sweet to my boys and rescue the kite. I kept yelling thank you(I was kinda far away) and saying I'm sorry for the trouble. She never responded, so I kept yelling louder thinking she couldn't hear me. She then threw her hands up, gave the kite to her husband and walked inside. Still being aloof to her attitude toward us, I kept thanking the husband as he walked down their stairs to hand us the kite. When he finally handed it to us he said " We don't need to fly this kite anywhere near their house" My jaw dropped, I was completely shocked that these people would be so bent out of shape over a 2 and 5 yr old flying a kite!?!?! Absolutely nothing came to mind as a response. That has never been my specialty. I am not very good with quick comebacks, that is actually a blessing because my sinful heart wanted to give them the ole 1, 2 verbal punch! So, after he was half way up his stairs I yelled back " I'm sorry for the MAJOR inconvenience". I came back and told M about what I said and he laughed "well you sure gave it to'em" You can hear the sarcasm right? Don't worry we didn't let those 2 goobers spoil our day.

We did a lot of this too.

Up and down... Repeat

I probably shouldn't have given Finn an Oreo right before we took a picture together:) That's OK, He is still the cutest 5yr old chocolate teeth and all.

Hey Angel face.

I am starting to understand why everyone thought he was a girl. He got a good haircut when we got home.

This little squirrel keeps me laughing all the time. This is how I found him the morning we got back home.

*Oh my goodness, I have to include this. While writing this post Shands was sitting in my lap the whole time therefore I am typing with one hand the cute part is every time I would scroll through a picture Shands would perk up and start waving his hand at the computer screen "HI FINN HI FINN HI DADDY HI DADDY.
