6 Great Days!!

Last week, was a great week!! Finn and I headed to Birmingham last Wednesday for a "Girls Pre- Thanksgiving dinner". When we got to Birmingham we swung by Jenny's to visit for a while. We had the best time! Finn met Bogie (spell?) the sweetest dog ever, and played for about 2 hours. It was so fun to hang out with Jenny. I still can't believe that with in a month of Jenny and Scott moving to Birmingham, Michael and I moved away! Although, Jenny and I made the most of it by walking together every single day!!!

Ok, so now for the reason we went to Birmingham. Girls Thanksgiving! Every year Catherine (Lewis) Botsford hosts a Pre-Thanksgiving meal, I look forward to it every year. Everyone brings their favorite side dish, and we end up having a wonderful meal. This year was especially fun because Finn and I spent the night with Cat and stayed up late talking and laughing. It felt like college all over again, ( Cat and I were roommates) except for the little 3ft mini me running around. Cat even witnessed Finn's new discipline technique; standing in the corner. Although, I'm not sure how well it is working. Finn seems to enjoy the corner, he even sings (hums) while standing there.

Dinner was great!! everything was so good! We all had the best time catching up, well maybe just me. I am actually the only one who doesn't live there anymore. Here are a couple of pictures from that night.

The next Night, Michael met me in Birmingham. Sweet Sally and Matt let Michael hitch a ride with them. I had to laugh when they pulled up. They were all in this cute, rented PT Cruiser.

Michael hopped in and told me he had forgotten his drivers license, so I was the lucky one who got to drive to Nashville at 9pm. It is funny, every time we go to Nashville we get there around midnight. Good thing our sweet friends Bobby and Adriane don't seem to mind.

We had so much fun! We went to Drew Murrell's 1st birthday ( Nathan and Lindsey's son). Finn had a great time in the blow up bouncy thing. I think Bobby had even more fun! We even got to meet Parker Haralson for the first time. She is so PRECIOUS!!! After the party we went over to Cleve and Annie's house to watch the Auburn game. We always have the best time hanging out with old friends.
